*ALL registrations must be submitted online by following these steps:

Step 2) Confirmation:
A confirmation, Thank You, page will open at the end of your successful online submission.
Step 3) Make an appointment:
***All appointments will follow social distancing guidelines; only necessary person(s) at each appointment***

2020-2021 RETURNING STUDENTS
Kindergarten - 12th grade students already enrolled in a Dawson County Schools, must register through your Parent Portal* for Returning Students starting on 07/06/20.
*If you do not have a Parent Portal, contact your student's school

Required Documents for School Enrollment
Students entering a Georgia public school for the first time
must be age five (5) on or before September 1st to enter Kindergarten.
GADOE New-Student-Requirements
- Birth Certificate
- Original for Pre-K, Kindergarten, & 1st Grade.
- Certified copy for all other grades.
- Georgia Immunization Form (#3231) and Vision, Hearing, and Dental Certificates (#3200)
- These forms may be obtained from your pediatrician or the local Department of Public Health. (*NOTE: Immunization forms from other states must be transferred to Georgia forms.)
- Proof of Residency
- Proof
of residency is required for all new & previously withdrawn enrollees, any change of address, and at each grade span (K, 6th, 8th, 10th)

- Social Security Number
- In accordance with
Georgia law, a social security number will be requested for each
enrolling student at the time of initial enrollment. Parents may choose
not to provide a social security number by signing a written waiver.
