The Dawson County School District's assessment program includes standardized tests, district benchmark and common summative assessments, as well as formative classroom assessments. Each assessment develops a well-rounded picture of the student's achievement and progress. Classroom assessments are correlated to Georgia's K-12 Standards to provide teachers with a measure to indicate the student's continuing progress.
