New AND Returning Families
REQUIRED SIGNATURE PAGE
The Dawson County School District requires a signed affirmation from parents that they have either received a copy of the student handbook and code of conduct OR that they have received instructions for how to find this information online. Instructions for how to access these documents can be found HERE and are also listed below.
The signature page MUST be returned to the school.
DIRECTIONS:

2) Print the form, sign/date, and return to your child's school ASAP.
3) If you do not have access to a printer, you may come by the school to receive a printed
copy you may contact the school to request a copy to be sent home with your child or
mailed to you.
STUDENT HANDBOOK
All students and parents should access and read the student handbook for their school.
- Elementary school handbooks are provided in hard copy and are also available online. Click HERE.
- Middle, Junior, and High school handbooks are available online. Should you need a hard copy, please submit a request to your school's Student Information Clerk (see "Returning Students" page for contact list).
CODE OF CONDUCT

SCHOOL NUTRITION (Free/Reduced Lunch)
Children need healthy meals to learn. Dawson County Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Student meal prices have been waived for the entire 2021-2022 school year! All students are able to eat breakfast and lunch at NO COST! (A la carte items will still be available for purchase.)
Adults/staff can still join us for meals at the low price of $2.00 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch!
STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Student accident insurance is available through T.W. Lord & Associates, L.L.C. Hard copy forms are not provided this year. For more information about how to contact the insurance company, click HERE.
